Loretta Ellsworth - author

Loretta writes novels for middle grade readers that capture the heart and imagination of young teens. She is a polished classroom speaker with a decade of experience teaching middle school and high school Spanish. Her classroom presentations are designed to meet your particular curriculum objectives, from how to write historical fiction or fantasy, to watching how an idea becomes a manuscript and how that manuscript becomes a book.
Fee: $1,000 for schools and conferences within 200 miles of Minneapolis, Minnesota and $1,200 outside of that area
(multiple days or half-days negotiable)
  $100 for book club talks (library book clubs, teen book groups, mother/daughter book clubs within reasonable distance of author’s home in Lakeville, Minnesota, or by phone)

Elementary, middle school, and high school presentations may include up to four one-hour sessions with a 10-minute break between sessions. Teacher’s in-service or PTA presentation evening before, or day of, school sessions in lieu of one student session.

For trips more than 50 miles from author’s home, host will pay transportation, hotel, and meals.
