Muncha!; and the beloved Boxes for Katje. Her scrapbook biographies offer many types of readers an way into nonfiction. The Fabled Fourth Graders of Aesop Elementary School has proven a popular read-aloud upon which curriculum-based activities are launched. She is a popular speaker at conferences, schools, and writer’s workshops, often speaking in tandem with Eric Rohmann. Candace lives in, and travels from, Chicago, Illinois.
