Anita Silvey - author, speaker
For many years editor of The Horn Book, publisher of Houghton Mifflin's Children's Books, and editor at various publishing houses, Ms. Silvey is currently a professor of children's literature at Simmons College as well as the author of several essential guides to the field. Her presentations on books for children and teens, as well as the creators of these books, are enlightening and inspiring. Ms. Silvey's wealth of knowledge makes Q&A sessions lively.

One- to two-day conferences, giving presentations on books for children and teens suitable for librarians, publishing professionals, media specialists, reading teachers, and elementary and secondary educators.

For trips more than 50 miles from author's home, host will pay transportation, hotel, and meals.
